About The Role:
We are looking for certified nursing assistants (CNA), who can assists patients with various activities and personal care in a long term nursing facility under the direction of a charge nurse
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Take and record patients’ vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate, and respiratory rate.
- Help patients with mobility, including walking, transferring, and repositioning in bed.
- Observe patients for changes in condition or behavior and report any concerns to the nursing staff.
- Assist nurses with medical procedures such as wound care, catheter care, and specimen collection.
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment to ensure safety and comfort.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, addressing their social and emotional needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Adhere to all relevant regulations, protocols, and procedures to ensure quality care and patient safety.
Qualifications:
- Active certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of US.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
